RomanianConnect is a community directory that helps people discover Romanian businesses, churches, organizations and professionals in the United States. This Privacy Policy explains the information that may be collected when you browse the site, create an account, submit or claim a listing, contact us, or otherwise use RomanianConnect.
Information You Provide
We may receive information you submit directly, including your name, email address, account details, listing information, claim requests, messages, reports, reviews, photographs and other content you choose to provide.
Public Directory Information
Information intended for a public listing may be displayed publicly. This can include a business or organization name, public phone number, public email address, website, social links, street address or service area, hours, service times, categories, descriptions and photos. Do not submit private personal information for publication.
Automatically Collected Information
Like most websites, RomanianConnect may receive technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, referring pages, requested pages, timestamps and security-related activity. Payments
RomanianConnect currently may offer free directory functionality. When paid plans or promotions are enabled, payments are processed on behalf of RomanianConnect by M B Professional Services using a third-party payment processor such as Stripe. Charges will appear on a customer’s card or bank statement as M B PRO SERVICES. RomanianConnect should not store full payment card numbers on its own servers.
Data Retention and Security
Information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the directory, maintain records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse and comply with applicable obligations. Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards may be used, but no website or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices
You may contact RomanianConnect to request a correction to directory information or to ask about personal information associated with an account or submission. Public listing information may also be updated through an approved listing-owner account where that feature is available.
Children
RomanianConnect is intended as a general community directory and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children through account or listing submissions.
